Pharmacist | Saint Barnabas Health Care Systems | Bethlehem, PA
Discover Rx-PA, an affiliate of the Saint Barnabas Health Care System,
is seeking two Registered Pharmacists for its Bethlehem, PA location.
The Registered Pharmacist is responsible for the provision of
pharmaceutical care to all patient age groups (including geriatric,
adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal patients). Responsible for the
preparation, dispensing and monitoring of both the prescribing and
effectiveness of all medications and IV mixtures. Must be able to
exercise considerable independent decision making.
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
Registration in Pennsylvania as a Pharmacist. Long term care pharmacy
experience desirable. Familiarity with Federal and State laws regulating
professional and LTC practice of Pharmacy. Understanding of role of LTC
Pharmacy, its inter-relationships with nursing facilities and functions.
