ELECTRICAL/INSTRUMENT TECHNICIANS
SAVANNAH, GA
Successful candidates will provide quality maintenance support in order
to maximize paper machine availability and minimize off-quality product.
Must have demonstrated industrial experience and instrument technical
training to qualify for these positions.
Positions require a 2-year tech degree, 3 years'
electrical/instrumentation industrial experience. Manufacturing
environment preferred; experience can substitute for the technical
degree.
Troubleshooting power and control circuits, PLCs and variable speed
drives, Honeywell DCS controls, control loop theory and application,
solid state electronics, and working knowledge of personal computers. Must
have good verbal and written communication skills, as well as mathematical
skills.
All candidates will be required to complete a physical, drug
test and a background screening that meets company standards prior to
employment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Weyerhaeuser offers excellent benefits including healthcare,
vacation and 401(k). Compensation will depend upon experience. Hourly
rates start at $17.80 to $28.00 depending on training and experience.
